This is the engine for the car ..16GB1254, I also have a correct twin cam gearbox to go with it. For shipping purposes the engine/ gearbox could be put back in the car.  This engine came from a car that crashed and rolled, the engine ripped out of it's mounts and came up and forward. The result is two holes (one on each side) in the sump which you can see just below the oil filter where the engine mount brackets on the chassis pushed the sump inward. Some of the broken pieces of he sump are still lying on the inside. Internally the engine is fine, has stock high compression pistons, and turns with a wrench on the starting dog.

YD3/2215 Here are a few pictures of the '60 twin cam Roadster that I have for sale. Engine and trans are out but included along with radiator, header tank, thermo housing, intake and exhaust manifolds and carbs and original air cleaners.  The correct twin cam  7500 rpm tach is still in the dash along with all of the other original gauges. There is a set of roadster seats not pictured that are also included. New Jersey title. US $10,500.
This is an east coast car with the typical rot in the sills and lower areas of the fenders and a close look at the photo shows some rot on the inner aspect of the chassis rail. The chassis is not sagging and appears sound  and very repairable. The convertable top frame is tucked under the rear cowl but not visible. Judging by the remaining bits of the original interior trim this is a car that has never been 'restored' by a previous owner.
