In 1990, the New England MG T Register held 'The Circuit of Britain'.  Almost 100 T type MG's were shipped back to England for a 22 day tour of England and Scotland. This was truly the MG experience of a lifetime. To celebrate the dedication of the MG Car Club's new offices a temporary sign was hung on Larkhill House on Cemetery Road. Cecil Kimber's office was at the far end. Recalling a famous photo of M types leaving the factory in 1930, I took this shot of my TC. While on the Circuit I discovered after almost 20 years of ownership, why my TC had originally had an unusual firewall and oversized generator bulge on the side of the bonnet, (parts I had removed during the
restoration because they weren't 'right').  It turns out my TC had been a Lancashire Police car.  Probably  registered as GTJ 150, maybe someone in the UK could tell me how to confirm that.
Having been without a Jag for several years I was able to add this XJS 3.6  to the fold. This is a pretty rare bird in the US, only 26 DOT certified cars came to the US for evaluation. Jaguar chose not to offer the 3.6 liter 6 cylinder for sale in the US. All of them have Getrag 5 speed manual gearboxes and will outrun the 12 cylinder automatic version up to 80mph. This
variation was known as an XJ57 in house, hence the license plate.

Over the years I have been adding to my Twin Cam collection. With this recent addition of YD3/2215 I have six with five engines and most of a sixth. In truth, two of those cars were strictly for parts, so when all is done there will be a RHD roadster and coupe, a LHD roadster and the Devin bodied coupe. The original fiberglass body was
destroyed when it rolled but  I have found a replacement body and plan to rebuild it for vintage racing. A few folks have asked what exactly does a Devin look like, so the attached is the same body but in this case on a TR4. It's not mine but it does serve as inspiration! That's about it, except for the bodiless '37 TA with a TC engine and trans, cycle fenders and a Wade supercharger. Maybe someday it will become the boat tailed K3 inspired racer I have in the back of my mind. Hopefully I'll get to it before I am too old to enjoy it.
